Hi,

I have an NTSC-J wii with 3.01j firmware and wiikey installed (not updated with 1.9g).

I noticed that in rayman2 the music sometimes freezes and in the shooting games where it's real video footage, the video freezes very often for a second or two and then gets back to normal.. It's pretty much taking all the fun away from playing those levels.

I used a verbatim DVD burnt at X2. Normally didn't have that kind of problem with other backuped games.

Using the wiikey 1.3 config dvd, I made sure my wiikey settings are the following:
Region Override: on
Audio fix: on
DVD Speed: X6


So basically I don't know how to resolve this issue.. I'll appreciate any ideas. thanks!

dvd-r or +r ... use -r preferably as this seems most successful - even try reburning on the same media in case you just have a dodgy disk. Other than that try other media cos that is the most likely solution in spite of your previous successes with your current disk choice.

Yes I use DVD-R, sorry for not mentioning that before. I'll try to burn again, it could be like you say just a dodgy disk.

I don't think it's a verbatim issue tho cause I've read ppl are most satisfied with this brand when it comes to the wii console.

I'll try to burn again and see if it helps :)

Problem solved! :)
The reason could be one of those 3 things:
1. Dodgy disk
2. I drew too many bunnies on the previous disk with a marker. lol
3. I didn't use wiiBrickBlocker this time..
