PAL or NTSC?

Does anyone know how to tell if an xbox is Pal or NTSC without putting in a disk? Can you tell from the serial number? From the software the box is running? Asking it politley?

That's a good question which I haven't seen anyone ask before. I can make 2 suggestions.

1. Try a region locked game. I believe any of EA's games would work.
2. Call 18004MYXBOX. Maybe they can check the region if you give them the serial.
