Hi!
I want to know if there are an utility that would help me extract the content from the PS2 version of Unreal Tournament. For now, it is not important to know if it will be useable on the PC version, but I want to first extract it.

I've looked through the files on the disc, and PSX2LINS.UMD seems to have the interesting parts. It is 252MB and has many files in it.

What I'm sure of for now about PSX2LINS.UMD:
This file contains the maps of the game. This is what I'm particularly interested about. It has the signature I found on top of every map files from the PC version; this signature is found often in the file, and each times there is the name of a map before. In fact, this is one of the first thing you see in an HEX editor. I used frhed as the hex editor. If you have a better one on hand that you would like I use, just ask.

Here is the first line of the file:
<bh:e0><bh:fc><bh:11><bh:16><bh:15>AS-Frigate?match=AS1<bh:00><bh:c1><bh:83>*<bh:9e>E<bh:00><bh:00><bh:00><bh:01><bh:00>

You can see AS-Frigate is the name of the map, ?match-AS1 is the type of match.
<bh:c1><bh:83>*<bh:9e>E is a signature found at the beginning of every maps, the nulls too are there.

Now, what I would like to have is some pointers on how I would go extracting that data and be sure to have only the good chunks. Is anybody able to help me here? Or at least tell me where to go if I want to have some better chances of getting help.
