Hi all,

is there a way to put like a media center onto the ps2 [ex:xbox 360 can connect to the pc and is a media center you can stream music and pics] is there somtin like that for the ps2?

NO but if you have a way of booting backups there is always the homebrew route , see http://ps2dev.org/ps2/Tools for programs like ps2-bootadvance. Good Luck :-)
