Hi, guys. I've been searching through forums and couldn't find the answers to my problems. Please help.

Lately, i started having issues with the newer games. I've been able to burn older games and plays with no problem.

I have a Hitachi 78fk flashed with the Xtreme firmware (Unknown version) as someone did it for me. I burn the ISOs with Pioneer DVD+RW DL which automatically sets booktype to DVD-ROM using Verbatim media with the Samsung SH-162C flashed with Kreon firmware. Software I use is Xbox Backup Creator 2.5 with burn speed of 2.4x.

For Halo 3, the main menu and everything loads perfectly, but when I play the story or solo mission, it loads the cut-scenes with no problem and after the cut-scene before playing the first level, i get an "Unreadable Disc error" stating to clean my disc even though the disc is not scratched. I'm able to go to the main menu without the Hard Drive on. If i put the Hard Drive on, it'll freeze at the Microsoft Game Studios logo and won't go to the main menu. Now the original of course plays fine with no problems. Did you guys have this problem?

For Call of Duty 4, the game freezes at the Infinity Ward logo. I cannot even get to the main menu. I tried reburning it again with the Splitvid option and then i get an "Unreadable Error. Clean Disc" and doesn't even load the logo. What's going on?

I have an old firmware that was flashed like 5 months or more ago. Does it have to do with an older firmware and newer games have more protection?? Please help

Do i have to upgrade the firmware to play these games or is it because i have a Hitachi 78fk drive??

Please help guys. I would really appreciate it.

it coudl be laser problem or once u have the .dvd and iso use clone cd to burn the .dvd file to blank dual layer

1st off i would upgrade your firmware to ixtreme....then tweak the laser....i posted something about 2 weeks ago about how to do it.....the thread is "tweaked hitachi laser and....."

i had the same prob, and discovered that my DVD DL's were 8X. make sure you have 2.4X only

hey i experience the same thing with halo 3...I can play multiplayer via custom games fine and with xbox live...but i cant play campaign...is there anyway to fix that? I have a samsung drive patch with kreon 0.81 and pioneer dl dvd drive and I used xbox backup creator version 2.7 backup and burn at 2.4x

I also experiencing issue with call of duty 4 360...when I open XBC on the read tab it said this is not a 1 to copy therefore I can not read the disc to put onto my desktop...so im stuck and I can not backup the disc because the start buttton is faded out and cant be clicked...

any help would be much appreciated
