Flashing TS-H943 F/WMS28 Help please

Hey people,
I'm completely new to this whole flashing thing and i'm reading everything i can get my hands on but i have a few questions....

So far i have bought a Blaster 360 NE (which hasn't arrived yet) and i've read how to dismantle the 360, install hte Blaster and reput it back together. I have ok with all this.

Now i've been reading about how to flash the drive and this is what I've got so far:

I've downloaded Iprep from Xbins and I've downloaded the firmware for my drive. iXtreme V1.3D - 8x Speed
I've loaded this intto iprep, selected 'force device list' and 'custom serial ATA'.

Now i have NOT purchased a PCI Sata Card at the moment as I've read placed sometimes your motherboard one will work. Is this true? Now when I have clicked List IDE Based Controllers it brings up the following:
Intel(R) 82801FB Ultra ATA Storage Controllers - 2652
Intel 82801FB/FBM Ultra Storage Controllers 266F
Ata Channel 0
ATA Channel 1
ATA Channel 0
Does this mean anything to anyone as it doesn't to me :o/ If it does mean something to someone can i flash the drive or do i need to buy this Via PCI Sata?

After this I'm not really sure what to do next. I know i need to create a boot disk and disable some stuff in my bios to boot from the USB drive. I've also read something about "dumping" my original firmware and keeping a key? How do i do this?

If anyone can answer my questions and then point me to some more tutorials i will be VERY happy to read!
