Hi dRD
Thanks for the link about the DVtool, and I have try that freeware and it work very good.
But I have 2 question on that DVtool that I hope you can help me out with.
1. I can't use the feature slitting START and END , I only able to use the length of the MB only.
2. The DVtool won't know the file size , if the file size more than 4 GB, do you know why?
Please let me know if you know how to fix that or may be this DVtool ver. is free and it won't allow to use all the feature in that software.
Hi Wonderboy
can you tell he how to use the start and ending in the DVtool?
and also why the DVtool don't know the size of the movies if the movies is bigger than 2 to 3 GB
Thanks

I stopped the process and sure enough, nothing was happening. I started it up again and once more I'm at 75 minutes.
These are the readings along the bottem. Could you tell from them what I'm doing wrong?
100% done, 0 files written, speed is 0.18 MB/s (this number has slowly gotten smaller), 77 min. passed, 0 minutes left.
The length of the mpeg is 491453955 and the original size is 866 MB. I've followed the guide that dRD pointed to exactly as it is written. I'm about to pull my hair out.
It is written correctly, but apparently the latest version of DV-Tool has problems cutting MPEG-2 files, the author has promised to fix it in next version -- meanwhile, try to find an older version of the tool.
Thanks, but I've answered my own question. DVtool 0.24 is the most recent version that has File Processor 2.31 as mentioned in the guide. One of the others may work but after 4 days of trying I didn't want to try anything that wasn't a sure thing.
