Heyy I'm having trouble with my SD media launcher.

I'm using the Ridata DVD-Rs and burning them at 2x speed. I checked them and they are good copies.

I did the laser tweak without any problems and I put everything back together exactly how it was.

However, I just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong

I have an NTSC Gamecube and my SD Media Launcher says it's the US Version.

I have two copies of the game, one in PAL and one in NTSC.

I've tried with GCOS 1.4, GCOS 1.5 and GCOS1.x.

Nothing works with 1.4, I just keep getting the black screen of death.

Nothing works in 1.x either; the only thing that did happen is when I forced the PAL game into NTSC, I got a green screen of death.

In 1.5, however, I always get the black screen of death. EXCEPT for when I put in the PAL game and force it as a PAL (if I select to play the default, it won't work) The game shows up in black and white and with pixels and lines but is otherwise perfectly playable.

I know this means something! So far, I can't figure it out but can someone please help. I've tried so many different things and I just can't figure it out. It's pretty frustrating.
