"Price is not an option"
!? What does that mean?
IMO
If you want to mod stuff now then get a PSP or Xbox 360
If you want the most powerful system my vote is for the PS3.
However I would want a Xbox 360 also just to play the stuff that won't be on the PS3.
If money is no object to you then just get all three.
Okay, not a 360, the graphics are already starting to look outdated, most games on 360 are done better on PS3 and PC, the only reason i see people wanting a 360 is Halo (To which i answer; look at Half Life 2: Orange Box, Crysis, Call of Duty 4 (The online play), Unreal Tournament 3, the list goes on. All of these you can get on other platforms with better graphics)
The PS3 is finally starting to be a contender, the graphics are nice and there are some good new games coming out for it, despite the lack of truely good games so far. It is expensive though, but, if you live in the US then i'm annoyed <.< They really are SO cheap there compared to Europe.
PSP Slim... If you've already got a PSP Fat there's no point what-so-ever. If not, then consider it, there's a back-catalogue of many many good games, the graphics are obviously not anywhere near as good as current gen consoles, but they're starting to look nearly as good as PS2 graphics. The fact the PSP has great CFW is another draw, and of course it's portable.
Sooo, i'd say it was out of the PS3 or the PSP Slim, your decision. (Though i'm biased and would have to say the PC, graphics are the best, largest variety, best controls (Contested), and can do tons more than just games...)
PSP, all the way from 1.00 to 5.50 GEN D2 - DS Lite w/ M3DS Real (M3 Sakura v1.34)
PS3 3.01 - iPod Touch 2G 16GB Jailbroken - Xbox 360 60GB - PC, Q6600, 3GB DDR2, GTX260 (216) 896MB

Closing - wrong forum - this is the psp mod and firmware forum.
Next Vs. thread don't turn out well.
Best bet check out the different forums for the consoles check nd see what they can do. But don't start another Vs. thread in them.
