Hi, im new to this forum and Ps2 modding, i hope someone can help. Im confused. My questions are.

Do i have to buy flip top? and what for? what do they do?

Ive only see the description as. "help change your CDs faster with this flip top".

And the only ones ive seen for SCPH-75001 are mostly solder. Im trying to find one without it because i would fudge it up. :(

Also anyone have any suggestions for a cheap starter mod chip for Ps2 Slim model SCPH-75001. I just want to play burned DVDs.



Summed up, I want to play backup burned DVDs on my model SCPH-75001 slim ps2. No solder, what is swap magic, do i need a fliptop?
