Did a search already but didn't quite find what I was looking for. I believe it should be easy because I remember doing this before....but I am currently having a brain fart, I guess.
I recorded something on DVR. Made a DVD with the commercials included. Can I load this in my PC and use a program to remove certain clips (commercials) and record back onto a DVD-R?
Pretty sure I did this a while back but can't remember. Thanks in advance.
I have the following programs; Clone DVD, DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, DVD FAB Platinum(Trial version only)
DVD Shrink, re-author mode. Drag the title to the left panel; select the part you want to keep (from the start to the first commercial break, I presume); drag the title over again; select the next section to keep; Lather; Rinse; Repeat...
someone was telling of a freeware progam that would edit out the commercials. it was on sourceforge. i have not had time to find it and give it a try. they said it worked really well.
wanted to see if it was less time to use it or shrink..

This is a good way to cut out commercials BUT when you go to make your 2nd title and so on,you dont know where you left off of and have to start from the beginning of the movie. There has to be a better way. This sucks, better if while you watch the movie you can do it at the same time.
