SMG Problem... and I have done a thorough search..

I have a 3.1 NTSC US version... I updated it with a SMG Jap. And then the 1.9 g. SMG shows up and boots, but then I get a blank screen.. what is strange is that I have two news icons on the dashboard and two weather ones.. and one of the weather icons is in Japaneese...

so two questions - any idea why SMG is not playing??
and why are there two icons...
from what i read in the forums, i did not do anything wrong!!

The crucial problem here is that you updated your NTSC-U firmware with an NTSC-J update. You should only update your console with updates intended for its region.

Try getting a SMG usa copy and put it in your wii. Or wait for an official Nintendo update to see if it overrides this one.
