Hi

I keep getting problems whilst trying to capture avi files off my camera. Basically, when i play back the captured avi file, after about 30seconds or so, the file stops and wont play. Therefore i cannot then encode it to DVD.

However, if the video is small (less than 4mins or so) it is fine, but for large videos it does not work. I have deleted most of my hard drive so there is about 20GB spare for a 7GB file. I have 756mb ram.

I have used windows movie maker and Roxio DVD builder to try and capture the files.

Any ideas why it works for small files and not larger ones?

I have tried capturing and inserting chapters every 4mins, but this does not work

Thanks
