Hello, I just got a PSP from my friend which is V2.60. I've been looking on the forums and i'm very new to these things.. I looked on psp-hacks.com which they had a downgrader from V2.60 - V1.50 with GTA thing. my question is what now can i do with my V2.60? because all those topics i've been looking at on V2.60 - V1.50 is about a year old, I thought something new would of came out. Do i need really need to downgrade it? or can i use some loader to boot ISO's. I've got few ISO's and a 4GB memory card. Please help, i'm a total noob on this, oh, I have bought a GTA game and it's coming in few days, So i need some help what i should do next? and what is easiest and best for me to run ISO's on my PSP> Thanks :)

So, i downloaded a V2.71 update from http://forums.qj.net/f-psp-hacks-9/t-gui...e-90916.html... Which didn't work because it say "the game could not be started"//... THen i went to other site and at last got the propper update for it. Then now my PSP is V2.71. SO i went back to http://forums.qj.net/f-psp-hacks-9/t-gui...uide-90916.html . and looked at PSP 2.71 - V1.50 downater thing. I loaded it, put the files on my PSP. ran it, then yes screen went blue then green then restarted... Then it told me to run the update XY thing.. so i did.. Then it asked for confirmation thing and press X. so i did.. then PSP went black,... screen went black.. so i waited for 10 minutes.. still like that.. restarted PSP, Yes. It's bricked. When i turn on my PSP , no sound, no image nothing, apart from the green power light. can anyone help? Is there a software to unbrick it? I can't even access recovery mode thingy.. Many thanks,. oh yeah, is there a software that i can unbrick my psp without the need of pandora's battery? Many Thanks
Eddie
