I tried a search, and didn't find what I was looking for. It started by having a corrupted game file on my hard drive, I attempted the use the repair program for the game and it said that the amount needing to be repaired was too large, and that I needed to reinstall from the disks. I uninstall the game from the control panel (add/remove programs.) I place the game disk in the cd-rom, and it tells me the game disk is bad and that it cannot copy the files. I try the same game disk in my wife's laptop, and it copies just fine. I thought maybe Windows had an error that prevented the files from copying. I reformat using the Windows XP pro CD, and now it is throwing errors (saying that different dll files were not copied properly.) I tried 2 different CD-ROM drives, and even bought a different hard drive, and still receiving the errors.

Sorry if I posted this thread in the wrong forum. Just right now I can't get Windows back onto the system.
