i got a new laptop yesterday and it had a lot of junk installed on it so i decided to reinstall windows vista in it. It came with vista home premium and windows aero was working fine. I reinstalled vista and aero wasnt working, i downloaded all the updates and then re-ran the windows experience and went up from a score of 1 to a score of 3. something. so now windows aero is accessible, i select it, hit apply and the system crashes and i get a blue screen with a bunch of things including "driver IRQL not less than or equal to" then the computer reboots and when windows loads i get the same thing.

so i reinstall windows, download all the updates, i rerun vista experience and before its done i get the same blue screen an the computer reboots, i can only log on in safe mode if not it reboots itself after the blue screen. can anyone help me figure this out? my computer is a compaq presario C717NR Thanks in advance.
