lately i have seen lots of people askin this so i decided to start a new thread n hopefully will reduce the number of same questions again n again(i know it won't though).
Gettin Started
-a custom firmware installed psp (3.52M33-4 or 3.71M33-3 is recommended but any cfw will do - for PHAT , 3.60M33 or 3.71M33 - for SLIM).
**3.71M33 needs a 1.5 kernel addon (phat only)
-emulator that you want to use (eg: SNES,SEGA,MAME etc...) >> These can be downloaded through these links below;-
FOR PHAT PSP
@MEGAUPLOAD N RAR FILES
> MAME Emulator
> SEGA Megadrive/Genesis Emulator
> SNES Emulator
> Gameboy Advance Emulator
> Nintendo 64 Emulator
@RAPIDSHARE N ZIP FILES
> SNES Emulator
> SEGA Megadrive/Genesis Emulator
> Gameboy Advance Emulator
> MAME Emulator
FOR SLIM PSP
@MEGAUPLOAD N RAR FILES
> Nintendo 64 Emulator
> SEGA Megadrive/Genesis Emulator
> Gameboy Advance Emulator
> SNES Emulator
-roms that you wanted to play (use G O O G L E to search for the roms)
Now you are ready to go!!
1)Make sure you have already set your kernel to 1.50 (for slim - 3.xx).
-to set the kernel (no need for slim) >> enter recovery mode by fully turning your psp off n then turn it on while holding the R-Trigger button.once there,go into configuration n scroll to Game Folder Homebrew to set the kernel.
2)after you have downloaded the file,extract it using winrar(if it is in rar or zip files).then put the folders unrar-ed into GAME folder.if it does not work,put it in GAME150 folder (For slim, use GAME folder always).
3)put the roms you have downloaded into the folder instructed(i said so because each emulator have different kind of way to put the roms)- no worries because there have been a readme on where to put the roms in the emulators you downloaded.
4)then on your psp xmb,go to games n execute the emulators.ENJOY!!
*any problems can be asked here during installation.
*anyone want to add some information, suggestions or want to correct me are welcomed(but no flaming).
*the emulators for psp slim is not tested by me thus i cant confirm that it worked (anyone who has tested those emulators and got it working please post for the comfirmation).
*the step on installing the emulators on slim should be the same as phat except it does not have 1.5 kernel addon.
BTW,the links(SNES,MAME n SEGA) provided here for phat is taken from chwoolgar in his psp terminology thread.
Will keep on improving it lol...
Thank you.

The method is the same. However, you just can't use emulators that require the 1.50 kernel. otherwise it should be the same.

I don't understand why people even mess with the 1.50 kernel in recovery menu. Just place the Emulators (or any 1.50 kernel based application) in the GAME150 folder. Then you don't have to mess with setting your GAME folder from 1.50 to 3.XX kernel mode.
Most Emulators can run the ROMs when compressed. So their is no need to extract the files. snes9xTYL(SNES & NES) and gpSP (Game Boy Advance) can play the ROMs compressed. Daedalus (N64) can not so you will need to extract the ROMs.
Good guide luffypsp.

Latest N64 Emulator is called Daedalus R13. It runs pretty good (except for the audio).

Do you have a FAT PSP with 1.50 ADD ON installed? If not install ADD ON 1.50 or download a version thats compatible with #.XX firmware.
If its a PSP SLIM then download a version compatible with SLIM PSP's.

Yes it's the best so far. You can turn off the audio if you don't like it. There will be a update soon that will probably fix it.

Tried your guide on installing 1.50 ADD ON, but I only got the message: "Incorrect or inexcitant 150.PBP at root." Although I have the 150.PBP in root.

Try renaming the file to 150. If that doesn't work get a different file. Id recommend using QJ.net
