Hiya,

I've got a Wii with the D2B chip with the 3 missing legs, I've ground away the chip to reveal the traces but am having no luck soldering onto the traces at all.

I read on one guide from consoleworkshop "and now its a simple task of soldering onto the 3 traces" simple????

I'm using the wire and solder that was sent with my wiikey, but it is just not taking to the trace. I'm wondering if I should get some separate flux? Any hints or tips on what to do?

I have done quite a lot of soldering so I'm not a noob, but I'm really stuck.

TIA,
Steve

Geez, there is nothing hard about life when you live on a beautiful island like that, lol. Lucky.

Can't you order online? It might cost a little more, but if you've gone this far its worth it.
