I have just put custom firmware 3.52 m33-4 by DARK_ALEX for my PSP. I also received popsloader with it as well. I just recently ripped my FFVIII game in hopes to play it on my PSP (yes, that's right a legal copy {i have too many PS1 games} ). I am wondering 2 things. One, I understand that FFVIII has 4 disks, my first question is, how do I make the SAVE ID the same so it will just be 1 save data and I can transition between my 4 disks. My second question is, where do I put the iso files for popsloader. I have also read there is something out there called popsstation. I was wondering what that does as well. (some converter perhaps?)

firstly... you might wanna update to 3.71 M33-2 (with the kernal Add-on #2).

secondly, when you say you recieved POPSloader with it, do you mean the utility for windows/mac or the plugins for the psp (should have come in a folder named "seplguins")?

it will automatically transfer between discs, and stay one save file (or whatever form it would usually be on PS-One Memory Cards).

that's absolutely correct ^_^, if you ripped them to .ISO format, you'll have to convert them using a program called POPStation which you can download for free here.

basically, you'll have to convert the image files (.ISO/.BIN) PS-One rips to PSP Format (which as you'll find out after using POPStation is two files named EBOOT.PBP and KEYS.BIN). once you have these files, simply put them into a folder named the game name (Final Fantasy VIII for example) and move the Whole folder into X:/PSP/GAME (where "X" is your PSP Drive Letter). Any problems using POPStation, just say on this thread ^_^
