To deleate any linux os do i just have to go to full fomat on my xmb to deleate it?

Also what is the best os why and why are the others bad.
Can they all run emulators because i keep hearing about Yellow Dog Linux and snes emulators...

Can you give me a good guide to a good os?

yes you have to format the ps3, just back up your saves to an sd card or a jump drive, and for the guides they're at the main ps3 page just look.

as for which one i don't know your "qualifications" i have ubunto and it was pretty easy to install, I haven't tried fedora or yellow dog yet.

What Kind of of emulators are out for ps3 through linux (N64, or Gba?)

im pretty sure if you scroll down on the link i gave you theres a thread about tutorials for ubunto emulators, i think its just nes and snes.

i know about those but was wondering about gba or n64. Also what version of ubuntu is best because ive seen ubuntu gusty gibbion and feisty? whats the difference? And can ubuntu do the same stuff as other linux os.

gutsy gibbon is just an updated version of feisty which supports bluetooth and wifi out the box, although it is pretty unstable on the ps3 your best option is to use feisty fawn then update the kernel for more features.
there are no gba or n64 emulators for ps3. there wont be n64 emus until the hypervisor is cracked, as for the gba if you found an open source version you could try compile your own emulator to run on ppc architecture.
which is what you have to do to get the gxmame front end working for the xmame emulator.
