I have firmware ver 1.50 on my psp, will let me flash 3,52 on it(says loading and writing 3.52 firmware),but when i check in system informion on psp,it still says 1.50 is still installed, cannot get into recovery mode due to R button not working.
Would i be better of trying to update to offical ver 2 and then try and upgrade or can you not do that.
This is my third day at this and my eyes feel like there going to fall out of the sockets?

dude...
lol. you just ran the Update CREATOR.
does the file name on the PSP say m33CREATOR? (or something like that??) lol
just run it, and after its done, go back to game->memstick->
and youll see that there is a file called m33update (and its blue, while the creator is orange.)
run THAT.
NOW, your upgraded!
:)
hope that helps./

Make sure your PSP battery is charged above 75%. If it isn't then it will just reboot back to the XMB.
You can check the battery charge level under system settings.

Try creating the 3.52 M33 update again.
HERE is a guide and all needed files to do it.
After you have updated to 3.52 M33 go HERE and download this application. It lets you access recovery menu from the XMB.

Followed this guide to the letter everything goes fine until the m33 update starts on the black screen, then it quickly reboots itself to the main psp screen again!
No flash has happened!

Then I duno what to tell you. The only time I have ran across that issue was when the battery wasn't charged enough.
What firmware are you going to?
Are you installing 3.52 M33-4 to update to 3.71 M33-3?
