Been playing with SmartRipper for a few days and am having a problem where after I rip a movie, I begin to play it back. It seems that well into the movie, the screen will revert from wide format to narrow (normal) mid-movie. The problem is, when playing back the orignal movie, it is widescreen throughout the full feature.

When it reverts to narrow mode, the image ends up being too tall (the proportions are now out).

Any ideas???

That prolly has more to do with then encoding process than the ripping process.. what technique do you use?
