I need some direction in what I should do... I have firmware 3.40oe-a on my psp and I've been out of the loop for a while now. Do I stick with this firmware or do I upgrade? If upgrading is my best bet, what steps do I need to change firmware and where do I get it?
Any help is much appreciated.

Yes, upgrade to the latest CFW, 3.71 M33-3. New games can be played on it and there's a POPSloader with it. It has all the new Sony features as well.

3.40 OE-A is the new 1.62 IE-D. Go to 3.71 M33, then 3.71 M33-3

ok Im confused....can I upgrade to 3.71 m33-3 or do I have to upgrade to 3.71 m33. I downloaded the 3.71 m33-3 from that link but I can't download the cfw 3.71 m33 on that same page is there another link?

Yeah, you first have to download 3.71 M33. WOW just search Google, don't be too lazy!

Its not about being lazy, but I just want reliable advice from other people to make sure I don't brick my psp.
