Hi guys, iv just got myself a nice new hd plasma and im now thinking of getting a 40GB ps3. I have a couple of questions:
Can the ps3 play dvd's in a hd format on the plasma as i read some where that only the 80GB can do this?
Im thinking of call of duty 4 for my first game, any good???

The PS3's can upscale the DVD's so that they will play in a better Quality than normal! I'm not 100% sure, but I'm pretty sure this works with all the PS3's that are out! Call of Duty 4 is a really fun game!!! I have it for the 360 and it is AWESOME! Very Fun!

yep it does upscale on all models, up to 1080i i think.
call of duty is amazing best online shooter out.

The PS3 upscales Dvds to 1080p on all models,it also does it with PS2 games as well,try and find a 60gb model or buy the 80gb model as the 40gb model wont play PS2 games.

Thanks guys, went to try buy one today but game was lacking in stock. If you buy the ps3 you can have call of duty for $69 but they had no call of duty in stock??? Will have to hang on for now. Oh yes and thats Oz $ not Amaerican.
One other thing, is it worth butying a good quality hd cable or is one of the ones that game sell good enough? they also had a deal on the cable's $19 when you but the ps3?

The Hdmi cables from Game are just as good as the really exspensive ones
