Wrong Firmware Flash for Samsung.

I had someone do a flash of my Samsung 25 and he flashed it with Sammy 28 so I get a "Please insert and original Xbox 360 Game". It will not play backups or originals but will play movies. Do I have to reflash it with the original in which I do not have or I can I flash it straight to Sammy 25?
P.S. I don't have the original firmware nor can I even get in touch with the guy who did the flashing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just go on #xbins to get the Correct FW, and flash it yourself. If you need help, just come here, and we can do the best we can!

Xubbax,
DavGerm4 is right. I do not have the original. The question is do I have to flash it back to the original firmware before I can flash it to the hacked firmware or can I flash it straight to the hacked firmware from the wrong flash?

No you can flash right to the hacked firmware!
What people usually do, is when they flash their Firmware, they dump the original firmware so that if they want, they can put it back on! I used to have ixtreme 1.2 on my 360, but upgraded to 1.3 and I didn't have to put the original back on, before I flashed it again!
So you should be fine!

you only have to put the original back on if you need to reflash a hitachi...a sammy drive can be flashed over and over again with hacked.bin or orig.bin over and over and over and over....hitachi you have to revert back to orig.bin before you can go to an updated hacked.bin
so you should be able to do what dave is saying.
