i don't think the 162a will work with the kreon firmware. i think only the following samsung models will...162c, 162d, 163a, 163d.

The 163A works. I bought it off E-bay and got it yesterday and it works like a charm, no problems whatsoever.

I cant get the 162's because my pc only supports SATA.
I found a 163b at dabs.com, how easy it is to flash with kreon, any guides?

oh i have a question in regaurds to the drives...and i found this thread so i dont have to create another..DOES the samsung drives for extract 360 games..will it work with wii games as well...considering its a dvd rom 2? or do i still have to use my LG drive?????????

I heard it doesn't work for Wii games, the Samsung ones.

takes maybe 10 mins to extract and it takes like 40 mins to burn a game on Imgburn set at 2X. Ziggi, it works great, ALL of my Samsung copies work, Schtrom is easier than XBC for sure.
