trouble connecting to psp's after 3.71m33-3

Does anybody else have a problem connecting to other psp's after the 3.71m33-3 install. Or maybey im doing it wrong. I made sure both were on adhoc and channel setting(several) and it stays at searching. any help would be apreciated.

Are you using an ISO, a UMD or just the PSP's XMB itself?

If you're using the ISO, sometimes the ISO is compressed so it loses some of it's features like AD Hoc. It can even come liek that without it being compressed at all.

If it's from the PSP then it must be because you're doing something wrong.

To help you more, I need to know if it's an ISO or a UMD or the PSP's XMB itself.

One had the umd and mine had an uncompressed iso, but I think it took out the dummy files. I tried it with the umd driver set on no umd first, then with umd needed. I was trying to connect from the game share on the xbm. Can I connect with out a game to send pics and music. If so maybe I should try that. Both psp's have 3.71m33-3. I think we did try to connect through the network connection, but weve both only had them a couple days. How should I connect for sending pics and playing games. Thanks for the input, adown

To send pics and stuff, you don;t need a UMD game. You just go on the picture you want, hit triangle and select "Send picture" and it'll look for another PSP. When ti finds your friends' choose it and accept and it'll send. Make sure both of your PSPs' WLAN switch is turned on.

Ill give that a try. Whats the correct way to connect to another psp for gaming. Just hit the icon in xbm>game>sharing after the game boots up?

To be honest, I never used Game Sharing. It probably says somewhere in the PSP's manuel.
