Was it a WinRar folder when you placed the file into the PC?

3.52 M33 has a built in UMD ripper. If your using software to rip the UMD then you don't need to. To rip the ISO off the UMD do the folowing...

Turn on PSP and boot to XMB. Once at the XMB press HOME button so the VSH menu comes up (If the VSH menu doesn't come up you will need to go to recovery menu and enable the VSH menu under configuration settings).

Now go down to USB Device and change it to UMD Disc then go down to EXIT.

Now connect the PSP to PC via USB and the UMD will be accessed. All you do is drag the ISO to the PC. After it has riped to the PC rename the ISO to whatever the game title is.

It is that simple (Don't forget to go back into the VSH menu and change the USB mode back to Memory Stick).

But to answer your question above you can use UMDGen to convert the files to an ISO. But using the built in UMD ripper is allot easier and quicker.

you can use umdgen to generate a iso
drag and drop the PSP_GAME folder and the UMD DATA.BIN file and save as iso

but as larrylje posted 3.52 M33 has a built in UMD ripper
