I've been thinking about buying an xbox 360(most likely the 'arcade' package), but I've heard alot of stories about them breaking all the time. I was just wondering if they've fixed the problem yet? or is this still a concern?

No, the problem still exist. But the main problem is the Red Ring Of Death (RROD) and that has a 3 year warranty where Microsoft will fix it. I think it depends on the machine you get, Like anything else some are just better than others. I know people who have had to have theirs fixed 6 times, i know people who have had one since day one who never had a problem. I have had mine since February and it is still running great so far.

agreed, it's luck of the draw. i bought mine last Dec, and it has gone by to MS twice. once for the RROD and most recently for a dread dvd-drive. on top of everything, i really don't even play that often...maybe once a month with some friends. on the other hand, my ps3 and wii have had no problems...but i still like my 360 the best.

i guess it is mostly luck
i bought mine like in june after it came out and i had no problems wat so ever with it
no ring of death and it didnt mess up any of my games either
