Can I Make My Xbox360 Backwards Compatible Even If It Is Flashed?

I'm new here - i've used this forum a lot for information, but i thought it's about time for me to make an account - hello to you all.

I've got my Xbox 360 flashed a long time ago and i have played copied games (they work fine) but i don't know if i can use the backwards compatibility updates on them in order for me to play xbox 1 games on my 360.

I have borrowed my mates 360 and he's isn't flashed.. i used the update and it worked fine.. it only needs two requirements to make your console backwards compatible.. that is one the update (obviously) and also a hard drive.

I just wanted to know if i can run that update on my flashed 360.

Anybody know? - any sort of help would be much appreciated.

ya you should be fine with the update for it! You can play Xbox 1 Games on the 360 if it is flashed! In fact, I was just on the xbins IRC Channel, and found out that I can flash my system to a different firmware so that I can play burned Xbox 1 games on the 360! So ya, you should be fine!
