Ok first of all... i am a newb at coding and all this hacking stuff.

I bought the O.P.M. the other week and was installing the demos from the disk and was thinking if you could open the "install package file" replace the demo with a full game and trick the ps3 to thinking your installing a demo(altough i read that the ps3 does not allow a file over 4gb to be transfered, but is this different?). I know you would have to have a Blu-ray burner and all that but i dont know... could this work??

I believe that the .PKG files are encoded with some ridiculous encryption and only PS3's have the key or something like that. I'm not sure if this is right but they are definitely encrypted. This is why you can't just open them on your computer like how mac installers are commonly .PKG format.
