Hey, I'm all new to the 360 scene and I have been knowing about the flashing things for a while. Heres the thing, I'm getting the 360 premium version 2 soon and I'm wondering about what possible drive would I get and if it's flashable. I hear BenQ is now flashable but I was wondering if It's ok just to buy a 360 without a worry of it not being able to be flashed.

Thanks for the help

i think the new 360 premiums have either the Hitachi 79 or the BenQ. The BenQ is relatively easily flashable, but I heard the Hitachi 79 is a little bit more difficult. i don't believe there is a way to know which drive you have until after you buy it and open it up.

I would agree with Hursty, I know quite a few people over in the UK that have used that site as it has been a trusted site for quite a while now.

Uhm, I'd rather get it from the shops as they have a good deal at the moment which is a premium 360 v2 for 220 pounds so I'm just wondering what to do, and that site was helpful but that prices are way to expensive :/. If I got the 360 and ended up with hitachi, is there anyway to flash that? and if so how hard?
