Twice now i have tried to get the software to create a pandora battery. UPMS and Pandora Jigstick.
Everything goes well - installed fine. I follow the steps remove memory card, replace card except when i do the PSP tells me NO memory card is inserted!
Twice this has happened & i have no idea why. I have read the threads and the program seems to work - so how come it does not for me??
Really stuck and really confused.I followed everything to the letter so.........
I was using a 1g card on 3,52 M33-4
If anyone can help i would be really gratefull
Cheers

Hi Bt,
Just found out that both are fakes, i can tell (I think) as they both do not support Magic gate. I bought the one from amazon!!!
Do you think that is the problem?

If it says "Magic Gate: not supported" then it is fake..you shouldn't buy memory sticks of the internet.
you could buy a 512MB for cheap though

No problem. Also, don't buy batteries for PSP from the internet. Most of the time they're fake.

You can get genuine sticks from 32MB to 2GB. Once the memory stick's size are bigger than 2GB, then they're usually fake.
You can search for "Genuine memory stick" on eBay and 1GB's or 2GB's will come up.. No 8GB or 4GB sticks... So be more careful :)
Oh yeah, 32MB to 2GB MS are 90% genuine in eBay. And 4GB and higher on eBay are mostly fake.

Quote: You can get genuine sticks from 32MB to 2GB
just to make something clear for newbies on this site. The above statement is when purchasing Memory Sticks off the Internet. You can get genuine 4GB and 8GB sticks from retail stores.
Just didn't want newbies to think any memory stick you buy over 2GB is fake because that is not the case.

Yeah and I did buisness with the 10%. Be careful. Also, if you see a Memory Stick Duo on eBay, let's say a 1GB for like 6,99$ with shipping then it might be fake. Check the seller. See his feedback and if he's a PowerSeller.

In case anyone cared - I actually got all my money back so not a complete loss. I applied some gentle pressure to them and hey presto - full refund.
I was not expecting that!!!

Congradulations, man! You're one of the lucky ones! I have a fake SD and never got my 42$ back. :(
