hello all,

i apollogize if this has already been asked.

my setup for BD movies is an HDMI cable straight to the television, and an optical cable for the audio to my receiver.

For some reason when i'm watching movies, all i get are Left and Right audio, no surround.

can anyone give me any info on how to fix this up??

Have you configured your audio settings on your ps3?

I too use optical for my reciever. Dts only gets sterteo sound output. so instead I use digital suround sound which works all 5 channels bot only outputs at 640 kbits per sec. I thougt I would get 1.3 M bits per sec.
