FF7 on PSP problem

A few days ago, I downloaded the first disc of Final Fantasy 7 off the internet (perfectly legal, I've already bought the game). I converted it to an EBOOT, and put the EBOOT in a folder, which I then put under GAME. I went to the XMB of my PSP and loaded up FF7, and it was working flawlessly. Then, the next day, I tried to play it but when it loaded, I was taken back to my XMB with an error code, saying the game couldn't be started. I tried deleting it and then putting it back on my memory stick, but that didn't work either. I didn't use any program to load the game, I just dragged it to GAME. I'm running 3.71 m33-3 on a PSP Slim.

Did you do ANYTHING envolving PSP in between the first and the second day?

Nope, after I was finished playing FF7 the first day, I turned off my PSP. The next day I turned it on and tried to play again, but I just got the error message.
