Something is wrong with my comp - Plz HELP!!!!!

hi guys - i really need help!
So I turned on my computer, and once it went thru its business - Win XP loading thing .... the screens was all in the lines and stuff... like messed up...
so i touched the wire and saw that my video card wire (the wire that connects monitor with the video card) is not sitting well in the computer, so i fixed it and restarted it but now when i turn it on and it loads the XP screen, after that - it is just black screen!!!!!
Safe Mode works fine but I can't access my comp normally!!! what should I do??
my drivers are fine - 7.10 and i installed them long time ago so they can't be a problem - can somebody help plz???
somebody told me to run memorytest - i didn't see how it connects to my problem but in any way it gave me 0 errors!
what should i do, guys? it is just black screen and then the video card fan starts making much noise like when u turn on the computer and the nothing...
Safe mode works fine... what's the problem?

EDIT: sorry for bothering - i unistalled my drivers and it works now. :) mods, please lock this thread :)
