well I will buy Ps3 but what is the difference between Pal and NTSC version and i want to play Ps2 games should i buy PS3 60 gb Pal or Ntsc or Ps3 80 gb Ntsc. I stay in australia. Is there a difference between them. Please give me a reply soon

Well the above htread is just the same im buying my Ps3 from Singapore which is NTSC and i stay in Australila which is a Pal region my question is cn the NTSC ps3 play pal games or vice- versa

PAL and NTSC are somewhat like region codes, but slightly different. They are each video standards. NTSC is used in Japan and US primarily while PAL is primarily Europe and other countries. PAL games do not work on NTSC consoles and NTSC games do not work on PAL consoles. You could buy a PS3 outside of your region, but be prepared to order all of your games online. :-(
