virgin media box wont turn on

My cable box will not power on. Its a scientific atlanta explorer 4200DVB. We have had the houses re-wiring done so the electric had to be switched off, and after it was put back on the box doesnt turn on at all, the tv, video, dvd player are all fine just the cable box. I thought maybe its a blown fuse but it doesnt look blown, and I changed it anyway and it still dont work, I even changed the power lead and that dont work either.

Could turning the electric off and back on have blown something inside the box?
