FF7 problem on PSP in Temple of the Ancients

Hey there, I am running FF7 of my phat PSP, f/w 3.72m33-3 with the latest popsloader and so far it has been problem free. That is right up till the Temple of the Ancients and the flashback scene just after the rolling rocks section before the clock puzzle.
Anyway when I am taken back to the pool for the flashback scene, the screen fades white then the music slows and begins to start and stop leading to an eventual crash.
Has anyone experienced this problem before?

Try a different pops version to get past that part.

You can change the pops version by holding down the R Trigger when booting the game.
