I'm running DevHook 0.5 on a v1.5 PSP
I've got 3 ISO's that im trying to load and run with it but each time I do, the psp screen just goes black then turns off. When I turn it back on it's back to the 1.5 XMB again :oS
I know at least 1 of the ISO's is good because the guy who gave it to me showed me it worked on his PSP before giving it 2 me!
anyone have any idea what i might be doing wrong?!

hehe i fell behind on the iso/cso loading scene when i couldn't get it to work for me - my m8 introduced me 2 devhook again and he has it working with DragonBall Z Budokai - so he gave me the rom and assored me its easy 2 get going...if u can suggest a newer app then please do!!

ok some of the iso/cso games require higher firmware the roms i'm not sure off cause i don't use them but the iso/cso games all of them work on 3.72m33-2 or m33-3. so is it only iso/cso games u want to play or roms as well?

I was actually under the impression that roms and iso's were the same thing, but i guess not! I have .ISO files so i guess theyre ISO's, so if i bump my firmware upto 3.72m33-3 then how will i get them working?

when you have custom firmware, you just switch the iso driver. you don't need devhook anymore.

awesome thanks dude :o) also ive stumbled across final fantasy war of the lions but its been compressed into 2 .cso files of equal size. Ive tried uncompressing back to .iso (with PSP ISO compressor) and saving the two iso's together (UMDGen 3.00) but my psp doesn't even see it! any ideas?

the .cso's are 203Mb each
the decompressed .iso's are 359Mb each - which looks like a good half size of a game.
However, strangely, I copied the two .iso's onto my mem stick and it does work! Surely if it's been cut in half the game will just freeze/crash somewhere though?
