I just burned slayers and put in my xbox. It gives me options to rebuild hd or rebuild retail hd. I swapped the 8 gig with a 60 gig and chose the rebuild retail hd option is that correct? and how long does it take to complete..It has been 10 minutes or so and I feel the hd working and the message on the screen is "preparing V1.x 4920 retail hdd, writing config sector" is this correct?

wouldht retail hd be the hd that cvame with the xbox...

retail is the drive that came with the box. your 60 gig is a large drive, do the one for the large drive, not the retail.
