game compatibility and firmware issue! pls HELP HELP!

hi all. im new to this area. i bought a psp which was modified by the salesperson. the CFW was 3.71M33-2. now tat 3.71M33-3 is out, pls teach me how to update my CFW. cos i do not wan to brick or wadeva cos till tis point, i still dun understand jigkick and universal unbricker blah blah. lol.

and i recently dled a few games which i have problems. The first game is The Simpsons? Game and Daxter. when i loaded Simpsons, there was this "Now Loading..." page which kept flashing for like 2secs and later i saw ONE quick flash of a page about "Checking Memory Stick Duo...." and a chunk of texts which i can't catch as it was just a quick flash. after this 2 screen, the screen just went blank and the only button tat worked was the "Home" button. issit due to a corrupted game file or compatibility issue with 3.71m33-2?

Daxter, was able to start fine but once i started the game. i entered this room and later the screen just faded off and nth came out. the only button tat work was the "Home" button. please help!! i really wanna play these 2 games.

For the two games, I think it's because they were corrupted. Try downloading them from another website.

For 3.71 M33-3 upgrade, download the file HERE.

Follow the instrctions in the ReadMe included in the download for the 3.71 M33-3 patch.

Forget abotu the POPSloader (it's for playing PSX games, you can only use POPSloader if you have a FAT PSP).
