A dreaded Disney disc. Does anyone know which software is best to use with this movie? Thanks in advance.

Kinda hard to help out being the movie isn't released until next week. From past experiences, Clone DVD & Any DVD have always done the trick for me when it comes to Disney.

Thanks Guys.
Yes the movie was released here in the U.K. on Monday. Sorry for not making that clear. I managed to download a free trial version of DVD Fab and that seemed to do the trick quite nicely. I will need to get myself DVD Clone and Any DVD. Thanks again for the help.

@obm4blade

One might want to use the edit function (pencil and paper icon in upper right side of your post) to add and update. This will avoid multi posting and the wrath of a slew of mods. ;)

What process are you using trying to burn?
What type of blank media are you using?
What type of errors are you getting that are stopping you from being able to back this title up? A little more info may help us figure out how to help.

Have the same problem as well.

It's a region 4 disc. Tried using DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, DVD Fab, Imgburn. All come back with a cyclic redunacy error.

Physically disc looks very good. No scratches. Only one that has partial success is #1 DVD Ripper but will take close to 6 hours for it.

just doing this movie now (Region 2) with DVDFab 4.0.1.6 Beta. DVDFab took ages to want to analyse the disc but eventually it kicked in and seems to be ripping ok

hi people, sorry I'm asking this so late, but never heard (or read) if the DVDfab did the trick; the point is that I just got a region 1 & 4 High School Musical 2 DVD and want to back it up, but DVD Shrink & DVD Decrypter send a "error reading" or "CRC error" and aborts... any clues on this will be REALLY appreciated. Ah, this also happens with the Miami Vice DVD. Thanx in advance

First of all, DvdDecrypter and DvdShrink have not been updated in years and cannot handle either movie by itself. Rip to Hdd using DvdFab Hd Decrypter, transcode/burn with DvdShrink/ImgBurn combo.

other than that, see these threads

Okay I've tried DVD Fab HD Decrypter with no success - it stops copying at 93%. Any DVD won't work either. I downloaded Ripit4me and the DVD Decrypter program it said I had to have to work with it - when this did not work, I tried using Ripit4me with DVD Fab HD Decrypter and still no luck. I've got Vista and have never had this much of a headache burning any of the thousands of movies I've done before this. Any other ideas?

What's the error? I used AnyDVD & CloneDVD w/o a problem.
You might have a bad press.

Also make sure you have the latest AnyDVD and DVDFab HD Decrypter.

I was able to rip it with FabDVD HD but then I had trouble putting it through DVD Srink. It came up with (Out of Memory). To Over come this I had to put the ripped files through Nero Recode and turn it into a MP4 then redevelop the movie using Nero Vision. In the process I lost DD 5.1 soundtrack but I did get a reasonable result in DD 2.0.....

I'm also having problems with this. It is the same problem I have with Ratatouille. I had errors when burning with DVDFAb Decrypter but it did rip when I did main movie and ignored all errors. The movies are on my computer, I can view them if I want. However, when I try to shrink (with DVD Shrink) the program justs closes. I can't burn (With IMG Burn) because the movie is too big. I've also tried downloading Ripit4Me with VTS fixer but it's gone.

Any suggestions?

I do have that one loaded on as well but that version won't even open the DVD for me.

Try running the file thru FixVTS or VobBlanker then opening it up in Shrink.

Glad it worked for you.

DvdFab just updated recently. You'll do well to check once a week or so as they are keeping up with the new baddies out there.
