After downloading a torrent and buring the image onto a CD-R, I successfully installed the game i downloaded (for PC), was pretty excited, until I actually tried to open the game and it said "Please insert the original disc instead of a backup (1000)."
I of course made a copy and do not have the original CD, but I do not know how to get around this, or what exactly do download to make it so I can play without a CD. I know there are cracks to download, I don't know how they work, or what to do with them.
I would like some help so I am able to play the game.
Thanks

pop the cd back in and explore the cd, from there you will see a file folder named by the group that made the game ie. Hatred or Reloaded and so forth.

Just copy that exe. and write over its directory and you should off and running.

yeah ive downloaded like 5 different torrents and this one i got to work using ImgBurn to burn the image to the CD-R, and im pretty sure ill be able to get this to work...just not exactly how.
a friend told me about cracks or something that allow you to play a game that needs a cd, without one, was wondering where to DL this/how to use it, orrr any other way to get around this issue.
