1. Do you have to hardmod the battery in order to make it a pandora?

2. If you use the pandora battery on a slim, does it downgrade it or upgrades it to 3.71 m33?

3. Is pandora the only way to downgrade/upgrade slims?

4. What is the difference between universal unbricker v3 and pandora?

1. Not necessarily ... if you have a PSP with CFW u can use that..
2. I think only upgrade I think... But yes...
3. Yes, I think ... with the universal unbricker..
4. Pandora is the basic... universal unbricker is like an extension of pandora... it can downgrade phat.. and upgrade slims..

Just use the Pandora Battery Creator...
It can be run on the GAME Menu of your PSP...

All you have to do is make your MS a MagicMS and your battery a JigKick Battery and your good to go..

Just follow the guides in afterdawn..

One last question..

Do you have to make the Datel tool battery or what its called into pandora or is it already a pandora battery?

The Datel Tool Battery is already in service mode. So don't run the Pandora Creator on a Datel Tool Battery.

In order to install custom firmware on your PSP you will need to use a...

Magic Memory Stick which can be made using an easy installer that installes Universal unbricker V3 files to memoery stick or done manually using a PSP that has custom firmware already on the PSP (A PSP SLIM can not be downgraded to 1.50).

and

A Pandora battery/Datel Tool Battery. You can create a Pandora Battery by using software(custom firmware PSP required) or Hardmod the battery to place it into service mode.

HERE is a guide to create a Pandora Battery + Magic Memory Stick that will install 3.71 M33-2 onto your SLIM PSP (A FAT/SLIM custom firmware PSP is required for this guide in order to create the Pandora Battery and Magic Memory Stick).

You can use an easy installer and hardmod the battery into service mode but I have no links for this and recommend it not be done. It can be dangerous if you don't know what your doing when hard modding the battery.

The Datel Tool Battery is already in Pandora all you have to do is make a Magic MS..
