Ok, i'm going for a system that is mainly for music.
Now let me see if i get this right

Tuner (radio)
Preamp (switch, connect tuner/amp/cdplayer to this)
Amp (power speakers/connects to preamp)
Cd Player
Speakers

So whats a stereo amp and a stereo preamp?

stereo amp is 2 channel stereo preamp is the same
