I think I messed up with Wii Key install

I was soldering my WiiKey and could not get a good bead on a pad, and now I cannot even see the pad, I think it got buried in plastic. Is there anything I can do to salvage this project, try to dig for it or something?

As long as the pad is still there you should be ok how did you burn plastic though? the soldering iron doesn't need to stay on the board that long. Google soldering tips there is some really helpful info out there.

I pulled up a pad on my install. I soldered to a leg on the chip. It works perfectly now. I think I posted a wiiKey diagram on here...

So figure out which pad is missing, and then solder a awg30 wire to that pin, and back to the wiikey. It's a little tricky - watch you don't bridge the pins =)
