god of war 2 won't play in my playstation 2

my playstation 2 will not play god of war 2. it will say disc will not read. this is the third time, which makes it putting three different discs, of the same game(god of war 2), from different sources. so i know tha it is not the disc.

It's probably your lens. God Of War 2 has a gold backround. Some PS2s (including mine) cant read those well.

Well you could try cleaning the lens with rubbing alcohol and a q-tip or adjusting the white cog. Lastly you could do a laser tweak but it is not recommended.
