Mainconcept NO AUDIO!

Hi folks,

Im trying to convert an .avi to .mpg file to author to DVD. Now no matter what program i use to play the .avi there's sound. (winamp, DVDpragram, VLC player)
When using Mainconcept no matter what option i use to convert the audio when its done and i play it theres no sound. Ive tried layer1, layer2, LPCM. Ive also tried to extract the audio by itself and put it in. NO LUCK! I know the audio is there because when i finish converting i have exractedthe audio from the .mpg but the fly plays with no sound. Can anyone help i enjoy using mainconcept because it provides great results.
