So i'm working on converting my videos over to a .mp4 format so they can be played off of my ps3. I've been working through my collection of music videos and am having an odd issue that i can't seem to find the answer for. The video is encoded in xvid and has it's audio in Dolby AC3. GSpot reports it as cbr dolby ac3 48khz, 256kb/s 6 channels...
I have another video that has the same cbr dolby ac3 but only 2 channels. I'm using Sony Vegas 8a, and here's my issue. I've installed AC3 Filter and vegas will recognise the audio of the 2 channel file, but reports that the audio stream is unrecogniseable "audio : stream attributes could not be determined" ...
i'm not sure how to get vegas to recognise the audio stream for this file...like i stated above, gspot reports it the same audio as one file that is working.. just a more channels..anyone have any suggestions?
